THANK YOU TO THE 27 CAR ENTRIES WHO CAME TO THE PNF CAR RALLY / PICNIC
The Perth Nostalgia Festival Car Rally 2009 was held last Sunday (15th November). A lot of organising went on and a special thanks to Vince DÁmico, Tony Coci, Egon Mico and Ross Pengilly for the organising.  Special thanks to Loretta for he organising of printing etc and to Geoff Tuke for supplying the music at the picnic afterwards.
This event was Rock'n'Jive's contribution towards helping Perth Nostalgia Festival provide a bit of fun and entertainment during the year between PNF's main events.  Whilst those who attended had a great day, it was very disappointing after all of the promotion and publicity, flyers, website promotion, etc, that we only had 27 cars entered for the event. Rock'n'Jive, you have four members of the club who are representatives on the PNF committee and apart from them and their families, partners, there were only four other couples from Rock'n'Jive who attended.  What can we say!!!! Vince, Tony and Ross had a very interesting time on Saturday the day before the event. It was found that a major part of the circuit was to be closed off for a cycle event (included Perry Lakes area and Rebold Hill).  The boys took off at 10am and worked out another route, re-typed the sheets and printed them off, finishing off at 5pm just in time to get ready for the Club's monthly dance at Osborne Park. We gave out six prizes on the day and other than a couple of sus! questions, there weren't any problems.
